1 of 4 Air Surveillance Radar for the Philippine Air Force from Japan Now Completed

Japan's Acquisition Technology and Logistics Agency has confirmed the completion of the first Air Surveillance Radar for the Philippine Air Force.

The radar, which was delivered by Mitsubishi Electric is one of the 4 radar systems to be delivered under the Air Surveillance Radar Acquisition Project of the Philippine Air Force.

Based on the photo from ALTA, the location is in Wallace Air Station in San Fernando in La Union. Two more fixed radar stations are being erected and a support facility for a mobile radar is also being prepared.
