On the morning of October 11, at the National Military Training Center 2, Regiment 940, the Air Force Officer School held bombing and live-fire drills for instructors and pilots on training aircraft. Yak-130 multipurpose.


Major General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army attended and directed the exercise. Participating in the exercise, pilots performed bombing flights and fired live bullets to attack ground targets. During the organization process, flight command components operate flexibly and scientifically; Good technical, logistical, information and radar assurance work. Notably, the pilots and instructors strictly adhere to flight techniques; Perform correct movements, calmly and confidently in using weapons such as bombs, rockets, and artillery shells.


The exercise took place as planned, achieved good results and ensured absolute safety of people and equipment.


The success of the exercise helps the Air Force Officer School evaluate the training results, technical level of piloting, navigation and combat applications of pilots. At the same time, improve the ability to organize command and manage training of the command staff, flight commanders and assurance components at all levels in flight training using weapons.


Speaking at the exercise, Colonel Ngo Vinh Phuc, Principal of the Air Force Officer School, said that the Yak-130 aircraft is an advanced combat training aircraft today. Practicing flying on the Yak-130 will help pilots accumulate a lot of experience before moving on to practice flying on new generation fighter aircraft.


The results of the exercise demonstrated the effectiveness of the school's pilot training and coaching work.
