HMNZS Te Mana approaches HMNZS Aotearoa in readiness for Te Mana’s first Replenishment At Sea (RAS) in five years.

Both vessels had recently sailed from Vietnam after conducting a goodwill port visit in Ho Chi Minh City and were in transit to Malaysia where they are about to commence Exercise Bersama Lima – a joint military exercise with Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Since refueling in Singapore 10 days ago, Aotearoa has supplied 575,000 liters of F-76 marine diesel fuel to the Royal Australian Navy and our fleet units. This included conducting their first night RAS in over a year.
