Cool weather? But surely not cooler than the training between our F-15SG fighter aircraft and the U.S. Marine Corps F-35Bs that happened yesterday. The Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT) was conducted in the southern reaches of the South China Sea, within international airspace.
The training opportunity with the F-35Bs is part of our continued evaluation of the aircraft, so that our aircrew can gain valuable insights into the F-35’s operational capabilities and combat characteristics, giving us more confidence in the F-35’s ability to integrate into our warfighting concepts.
