AFP and DND to Look at Other Cheaper Rocket Artillery System from Israel and South Korea

Previously the Armed Forces of the Philippines mentioned that they are interested in the HIMARS rocket artillery system, which we confirmed from MaxDefense sources.

According to MaxDefense and AFP & DND, its high price tag was an issue, which pushed the AFP to look at other cheaper options like the Elbit Systems PULS and Hanwha K239 Chunmoo, which are not only cheaper but are not as restrictive to sell and use munitions.

HIMARS is reportedly not yet off the chart, as the AFP wants them and the United States might make it easier for the AFP to have them.
