The DBM has released the full amount of the funds for the Unmanned Aerial Systems Level 3 Lot 2 - Electronic Warfare System for Hermes 900 Acquisition Project of the Philippine Air Force, which aims to provide the Hermes 900 UAS fleet with an Electronic Warfare (Signal and Communication Intelligence) capability.
It is not yet determined who won the project or what product would be delivered as Max Defense PH believe a Notice of Award is still on its way, but Max Defense PH believe Elbit Systems will be providing these, being the manufacturer of the Hermes 900 they have exclusive access to many of the UAS' capabilities.
