Spotted in Israel Shipyard's, Philippine Navy to receive 1st 2 of 9 Shaldag Mk V Fast Patrol Boats
A Shaldag Mk 5 Fast Attack Interdiction Craft with hull number 901 was spotted in Israel's Shipyard's facility in Israel, wich appears to be the first unit for the Philippine Navy.
The Navy is expecting to receive the first 2 of 9 Shaldag Missile Capable Fast Patrol Boats from Israel in September, Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Adeluis Bordado said.
Israel Shipyard's Limited is supplying the boat from Navy's requirements for several Fast-Attack Interdiction Crafts under an approved contract of 10 Billion pesos.
The total amount included weapons, which would be purchased separately from Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Co. Limited.
