Exercise Carabaroo Between the Philippines and Australia, Successfully Concluded

Exercise Carabaroo between the Philippines and Australia has officially ended this September.

A three-week training exercise designed to strengthen multinational combined arms teams was held at the 1st Combat Engineer Regiment Headquarters, Robertson Barracks, Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.


The two countries also learned some bilateral exercises particularly in its operations in urban, littoral combined arms maneuvers in a large-scale force-on-force environment.

About 138 troops of the Philippine Army's 1st Brigade Combat Team, First Scout Ranger Regiment, and Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) participated in the said training along with some representatives of the Australian Army.
