The Philippine Air Force is expecting the arrival of a brand new Cessna C208B Grand Caravan intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft by July 2023.
This would be the 3rd Cessna C208B Grand Caravan of the Philippine Air Force provided by the United States under its Military Assistance Program, with the other 2 aircraft also given to the Philippines back in 2017.
MaxDefense reported back in 2020 that the US was preparing a military assistance package that includes 1 more Cessna C208B ISR aircraft.
The aircraft will be handed over to the Philippine Air Force, with the 300th Air Intelligence and Security Wing operating it together with the PAF's other C208B ISR aircraft.
