Entire Delivery of Sabrah ASCOD 2 Light Tanks to Philippine Army to be Delivered This Year All
Additional ASCOD 2 platforms with the Philippine Army paint scheme were displayed by Santa Barbara Sistemas in Spain recently.
There appear to be platforms for the Sabrah ASCOD 2 light tank for the Philippine Army sans its tank turret from Elbit Systems.
Elbit Systems is scheduled to deliver a bulk of the Sabrah ASCOD 2 light tanks to the Philippine Army this year.
The entire delivery is expected to be completed by 2023, with the tanks to be assigned to the Philippine Army's sole Armored Division.
The Philippine is expected to received 18 ASCOD Sabrah light tank, 10 Pandur II Sabrah wheel tank and a few command and recovery vehicle based on the ASCOD Pizzaro 2 platform.
