AT-6E Wolverine Attack and Training Aircraft from the United States has Arrived in Thailand

Beechcraft AT-6E Wolverine registered N610AT callsign "TEX2" was arrived Chiang Mai international Airport, Thailand on 15 November 2022. AT-6E Wolverine N610AT has flight to Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) Flying Training School Kamphaeng Saen in Nakhon Pathom Province on 16 November 2022. Website tracking aircraft aviation around the world, Flightradar24.com it has shown that an AT-6E Wolverine attack and trainer aircraft, US registration N610AT, designated "TEX2", flew from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, India, to Thailand at Chiang Mai International Airport In Chiang Mai on November 15, 2022 and one day after November 16, 2022, it flew from Chiang Mai to Kamphaeng Saen Aviation School Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) in Nakhon Pathom Province.

The AT-6E Wolverine N610AT attack and training aircraft is one of Textron Aviation Defense's demonstration aircraft which made an intercontinental flight from the US to Glasgow, UK, Lyon, France, Catania, Italy, Heraklion, Greece in early November 2022. It will be exhibited at the Bahrain International Airshow 2022 at Awali International Airport, Bahrain from 9-11 November 2022 and will continue to Muscat, Oman, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, India before arriving in Thailand for a total of more than two weeks.


Previously, on 14 November 2022, the Royal Thai Air Force hosted a welcoming ceremony for the first two Beechcraft T-6TH Texan II training aircraft from 12 machines ordered in the year 2020 at Kamphaeng Saen Aviation School which flew across the continent to Chiang Mai International Airport on 12 November 2022, with the first 10 more being delivered via The ship is assembled in Thailand by Thai Aviation Industries Co., Ltd. (TAI).

The T-6TH T-6TH training aircraft based on the Beechcraft T-6C Texan II training aircraft will be used as a replacement for the late-stage training squadron's downstream training squadron, the Pilatus PC-9 Mustang at Kamphaeng Saen Aviation School that has been active since the year 1991.


The T-6TH is based on the AT-6E attack and training aircraft that was signed in November year 2021 in the amount of 4,314,039,980.80 baht ($ 143 million). AT-6TH Wolverine attack and training aircraft will be in service in the 411 Squadron, Wing 41 in the year 2024 to replace the fighter and training machine Aero L-39ZA/ART Albatros that have been retired. It is expected that there will be an order to procure 4 more machines.

Under the technology transfer to support the Thai aviation industry, the AT-6E N610AT may be used for system integration demonstration tests as required by the Royal Thai Air Force. Including the tactical network Link TH datalink and the IRIS-T air-to-air missile.
