The new Hunter Armoured Vehicle-Launched Bridge (HT-AVLB) was recently commissioned at the Singapore Combat Engineers' 55th Anniversary.
Developed in collaboration with DSTA, the HT-AVLB is designed with users in mind including a Mixed Reality simulator to improve training and operator competency.
Augmented with cameras, the HT-AVLB operates with its hatch closed providing situational awareness and safety for its crew inside the platform.
The HT-AVLB can be deployed within seven minutes and is networked with other Hunter platforms.
They will replace the aging SM-1 launched bridges for the next-generation SAF.
