MaxDefense Philippines received confirmation that the Philippine Army has received an initial batch of brand new Hermes 90 THOR mini unmanned aerial systems (mUAS) from Israel's Elbit Systems.
These were procured as part of the Philippine Army's C4ISTAR Unmanned Aerial Systems Level 1 Acquisition Project, which is a Horizon 2-phase priority project under the Revised AFP Modernization Program.
The Philippine Army ordered 533 systems, which each system composed of 2 Hermes 90 THOR unmanned aerial vehicles and a man-portable flight and surveillance operating system.
