The tender was supposed to close on May 18, but the deadline for bidding was extended until June 1.
The Malaysian Ministry of Defense announced today that the company that won the tender is Roketsan KARAOK.
When KARAOK enters service with the Malaysian Army, it will replace the Metis-M ATGW-MR missile installed on G-Wagen 4X4 vehicles. The new ATGW-MR will be integrated into Cendana vehicles.
