The Sea Acceptance Test (SAT) of the first ASW HMS HUNTER and UT2200 for the Philippine Navy's Del Pilar class frigates was conducted on 27 June in Subic, Philippines. The SAT was completed successfully and without any points of non-compliance.
Our Korean customer (Hanwha Systems) and the end customer (Philippine Navy) were highly satisfied with the system, which seamlessly integrated with the Hanwha CMS. This successful SAT concludes a long design, development, integration, installation and acceptance period.
We will be fitting the HUNTER system to two more ships for the Philippine Navy in the next 12 months, and with this additional reference ELAC SONAR hope to have more exciting projects in the pipeline.
