Arrival of V-22 Osprey and CH-53E Super Stallion in PH (photos : Pitz Defense Analysis)
Units belonging to the United States Marine Corps, along with their V-22 Osprey aircraft and CH-53E Super Stallion Helicopters arrived in the country as part of Marine Aviation Support Activity 2023 or MASA '23.
The increase in the U.S. Military Aircraft coming into the country comes as the bilateral security relations between both nations also increased with the approval of nine more additional sites under the Expanded Defense Cooperation Agreement or EDCA, as the tension in the region continues to intensify.
