Austal has successfully launched the fifth Evolved Cape-class Patrol Boat for the Australian Navy, the future ADV Cape Woolamai was launched at the Henderson, West Australia shipyard following approximately 12 months of construction and only 4 months after the last ECCPB, in September 2022.
Austal are on track to hand over ADV Cape Woolamai to Department of Defence later in 2023. With our 300-strong supply chain partners, we’re producing an ECCPB every 12 months, launching every 3 months; an impressive record of manufacturing, and helping to build Australia's naval shipbuilding enterprise.
