Facebook page United Defense Technology Co., Ltd. Thai distributor of light artillery, 105mm towed arc projectile type Nexter LG1 Mk III has posted a picture of the Thai military ambassador to France checking the production progress at the Nexter System factory in France.
It is a procurement according to the project of purchasing 2 items of a 105mm towed arc-trajectory light artillery project, by a specific method, with a limit of 834,400,000 baht ($26,722,194 or 22,677,763 Euros) by the Royal Thai Armed Force on 28 November 2020.
In which the Royal Thai Army is in the process of procuring 12 new light artillery shells with towed arc-trajectory LG1 Mk III for one battalion to replace old artillery such as M101A1 or M56.
