The Luna Sharpshooters, also known as the "Marksmen of Death", was an elite unit formed by General Antonio Luna to serve under the Philippine Revolutionary Army.
Aselsan SMASH 30mm gun (photos : FF151)
On 09 April 2022, modern-day Luna Sharpshooters, test fired one of the newest weapon systems in the inventory of the Philippine Navy – the Aselsan SMASH 30MM Gun. The said weapon system is the secondary gun of the unit manufactured by Aselsan which is intended for Anti-Surface and Anti-Air Engagements. Jibed in the activity is the annual and quarterly test firing of the 76mm SRMF Gun and K6 50 Caliber HMG respectively.

The officers and men of BRP ANTONIO LUNA (FF151) once again exhibited their excellence during the firing evident on the sinking and destroying of all the targets provided. The remarkable success of the firing justified their pseudonym - “Tiradores dela Muerte” – or commonly known as the “Marksmen of Death”.
