Night attack capable aircraft are more deadly at night. Since the enemy can't see the aircraft, they only have the option to shoot in the general direction of the sound from the aircraft.
With the induction of modern new aircraft equipped with precision guided munitions, for the first time in history, MAF now has the extensive night attack capabilities.
Therefore the aircraft can effectively engage the ground targets by using both guided and unguided munitions without any hindrance.
Apart from the JF-17s, upgraded MiG-29SMs also have the night attack capabilities by using the precision guided munitions and Yak-130 can also perform limited night strikes.
Moreover Mi-35P attack helicopters are also equipped with forward-looking infrared (FLIR) systems and can carry out night attack effectively.
