The Royal Thai Army has Begun Training with the Refurbished Bofors 40mm L/70 OES Anti-Aircraft Artillery

The Royal Thai Army has been supplied AA Bofors 40mm L/70, which is used with the Netherlands Flycatcher fire-control radar since the 1980s, enlisted in the Airborne Artillery Battalion, a direct unit of Air Force, including AA 2, Pol. 2, received the latest Bofors 40mm L/70 OES.


The overhaul of the Bofors 40mm L/70 OES, in addition to design development of long-lasting replacement parts and the original source off-line. It also improves the capability of the system to be modern and more efficient by the private sector of Thailand.
