Proficiency Training of Army Helicopter Pilots

In Photos: Captain Emmanuel L. Ferrer, Pilot-in-Command, together with Major Romano F. Laab Jr, Co-Pilot, and aircrew of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Bo 105M helicopter, continued the conduct of Proficiency Training at Fort Magsaysay Military Reservation today, 25 January 2022. 

The training exercises include aerial maneuvers, landing, and take-off from mountainous and difficult terrain, to prepare the aviators and aircrew with their future missions in support to ground forces.

Proficiency Training Flight Continuous 

Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija – Two teams of Army rotary aviators utilizing the Robinson R44 helicopter, landed at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City today, 28 January 2022.


In a series of flights done throughout the day, 1Lt Tynnel Jonden U. Bañas (Pilot-in-Command) with Captain John Carlo B. Valencia and Captain Jestony A Lanaja (Co-Pilots), took off from Fort Magsaysay Aerodrome at 08:18 am and landed at Fort Andres Bonifacio, thereafter, returned safely to Fort Magsaysay. Likewise, Captain Pearl Esther I. Taladro (Pilot-in-Command) with Major Jonathan Q. Ramirez and Captain Rhona K. Salvacion (Co-Pilots), took off from Fort Magsaysay Aerodrome at 11:06 am, landed at Fort Andres Bonifacio, and thereafter, returned safely to Fort Magsaysay at 01:18 pm. 

The continuous training flights includes flying through congested and built-up areas as part of proficiency and navigational training for all Army Aviators.
