If you've followed us long enough, you know the Raptor Brigade has been integrating with our partners and allies in the air for some time.

At Super Garuda Shield 22, AH-64E Apache helicopters assigned to 1-229th Attack Battalion and the TNI Angkatan Darat's 11th Squadron teamed up to provide attack and reconnaissance support to the ground force commanders during every phase of the exercise.

The firepower displayed by this bi-lateral combined team enabled the Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise to be an impressive spectacle for the throng of foreign observers and media at the control tower.

Super Garuda Shield, a part of Operation Pathways and a longstanding annual, bilateral military exercise conducted between the U.S. military, Indonesia National Armed Forces, has now expanded to a multinational exercise encompassing 14 Nations.

This exercise reinforces the U.S. commitments to our allies, and other regional partners reinforcing joint readiness, and the interoperability to fight and win together.

The exercise will last until August 14, encompassing army, navy, air force, and marine drills.
