The Axemen will get you to the X, and home again.

UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters assigned to "Task Force Tigershark," the aviation task force assigned to support exercise Super Garuda Shield 22 in Indonesia, executed an air assault mission at the beginning to kick off the field training exercise portion of the exercise. Yesterday, they brought the Soldiers back after a tough 72 hours in the Indonesian jungle near Baturaja.

Soldiers from 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, the Australian Army, The Singapore Army, and TNI Angkatan Darat were provided with world class aviation support during the FTX (Field Training eXercise), and will continue to receive it as we move into the Combined Live Fire Exercise (CALFEX) phase of the multinational exercise.

Super Garuda Shield, a part of Operation Pathways and a longstanding annual, bilateral military exercise conducted between the U.S. military and Indonesia National Armed Forces, reinforces the U.S. commitments to our allies, and regional partners, joint readiness, and the interoperability to fight and win together.

The exercise will last until August 14, encompassing army, navy, air force, and marine drills.
