Indigeneous RCWS also could equipped with Igla-S missile (all photos : QPVN)
An indigenously produced RCWS has recently been seen equipped on a VFRS ship.
The first prototype was unveiled on state media in 2017 and after 5 years do we only see it actually being used, proving the difficulty of making a prototype a real product.
The RCWS is equipped with a 12.7mm NSV machine gun that can be manually operated if the electronic system is down.
Interestingly, the video that unveiled the prototype also showed an Igla-S RCWS.
We'll wait and see when that gets put into service.
