Opening ceremony of the annual tactical air operations competition for the year 2021, the Royal Thai Air Force at the Chai Badan Air Weapons Training Field. Previously released images of the Diehl IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missile with the Lockheed Martin Sniper ATP (Advanced Targeting Pod) pod.
The key weapon demonstration was an Elbit Lizard 3 laser-guided bomb attack from an F-16AM/BM fighter equipped with a Sniper ATP target pod, an AIM-120C air-to-air missile and an IRIS- T marks the first time that the Royal Thai Air Force has revealed this capability.
