DTI's Versatile Multi-Caliber Rocket Launcher will be Developed for the Royal Thai Navy

On Februari 8, 2021 Naval Research & Development Office (NRDO), Royal Thai Navy (RTN) and Defense Technology Institute of Thailand (DTI) underwent conference to consider the direction of cooperation to  conduct research and development.

Based on the information from the diagram, the project of a multi-caliber multi-barrel rocket launcher project is divided into three phases of research and development from the fiscal year 2021-2024.

Phase 1, for fiscal year 2021-2022, requesting approval for the principle of co-research and development, conducting research and designing multi-barreled multi-calibre rocket base vehicle as required by the Royal Thai Navy.

The second phase of the fiscal year 2022 - 2023 is to create parts and jointly and the third phase of the fiscal year 2023-2024 is a test and experiment by the user unit.

In 2019, DTI Thailand entered into a contract with Israeli Elbit Systems for the design and developmentof  a multi-caliber multi-barreled rocket system for Phase 1, an amount of 79,716,000 baht ($ 2,614,724.66), which includes a research project to develop a multi-barreled rocket launcher with a range of 80km, named D11A.

A versatile multi-barrel rocket launcher system based on Elbit Israel's PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System), it is designed to accommodate a wide variety of launching platforms, non-missile and guided missiles.

Such as Accular 122mm guided missiles, 45km firing range, 18 shot sets and EXTRA 300mm rocket, 150km iring range, 4 shot sets and the Predator Hawk tactical missile, 300km firing range, 2 shot sets. Supply system to our  government for a long time.
