AP Now Acknowledging That Only 3 U.S. Intelligence Agencies (Not 17) Believe That Russia Tried To Influence The 2016 Election To Benefit Donald Trump

WNU Editor: The AP clarification is here .... Clarification: Trump-Russia Stories (AP). This clarification is to correct numerous AP stories that pushed the story that 17 U.S. intelligence agencies believed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump .... here is one example ....  U.S. Intelligence Agencies Believe That Russia Tried To Influence The 2016 Election To Benefit Donald Trump (Salt Lake Tribune/AP). The AP is the world's largest news wire service .... and what they produced is posted by thousands of news outlets. Errors like this one .... and one that was not corrected for quite awhile .... just feeds into the public perception that the media is either incompetent or bias.

Update: Speaking of the press .... there are changes to the White House Briefing room .... Conservative media outlets gain seats in White House briefing room (The Hill). The addition of Newsmax and One America News (OAN), as well as British newspaper The Daily Mail .... are long overdue. These news outlets have huge audiences, and they will add to the ideological diversity of the White House press corps.
