The House of Representatives voted to override President Donald Trump's veto of the National Defense Authorization Act Monday night.
In a vote of 322 to 87, with two-thirds of the House needed, the chamber slapped down Trump's veto pen for the first time of his presidency.
The Senate is expected to vote Tuesday and also override the president - turning the massive defense bill into law.
