Lockheed Martin has brought to Philippines an F-16 Block 70/72 flight simulator for Philippine Air Force (PAF) pilots to experience the F-16.
“We were honored to host 70 Philippine Air Force Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command Flying School students as they experienced flying the most advanced F-16 to date; the F-16 Block 70 Fighting Falcon,” Lockheed Martin said.
Prior to information released by Lockheed Martin, MaxDefense Philippines uploaded in its social networking page photos of the said simulator in Philippines on January 21.
The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is in the process of officially deciding on what platform it needs for its multi-role fighter program.
“The timing is so good since the PAF is already in the final steps on finally deciding the Multi-Role Fighter of its choice between the Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 70/72 Viper and the Saab JAS-39C/D MS20 Gripen,” MaxDefense said.
