Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering (DAE) Royal Thai Air Force announced contract to the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) for upgrade 11 of Gripen C/D with MS20 standard in 13 January 2021.
DAE RTAF also announced contract to Thai Aviation Industries (TAI) for support services to 14 of F-5E/F Super Tigris, 14 of Alpha Jet and 14 of AU-23A modernization programs in 12 January 2021.

According to the Department of Air Technicians, Royal Thai Air Force publication of the project for the development of multi-purpose fighter aircraft Saab Gripen 39 C/D on January 13, 2011 on the website in February 2011.
