Royal Thai Navy Ready to Protect Andaman Sea

A compilation of naval vessels in the navy show potential to protect the Andaman Sea area in the 2021 Navy training in the middle of the sea, Laem Panwa, Phuket.


According to the Navy, the Field/Sea (FTX) training in the Navy for fiscal year 2021 in the Andaman sea area which is in the range between 22-23 March 2021 is a maritime prevention training. Third Naval Command provides mission to protect the Andaman Sea and refuse to use the sea of enemy shipwrecks and boats participating in preventive training.


The area comprises of the ships HMTS Taksin 422, HTMS Kraburi 457, HTMS Sukhothai 442, HTMS Krabi 551, HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan 552, HTMS Sriracha 553, HTMS Matra 836, and Tor 992. A section which has arrived to park for anchor in the middle of the sea in Laem Panwa area, Phuket province to prepare for this training.


This training purpose is to test the ability to execute commandment, test the ability to comply with navy force concepts in defence of space and tactical action to stifle the enemy and reject the use of the Andaman Sea to provide maximum combat preparation according to country defense plan.


This 2564nd Annual Navy Training is a major time training with integration of all agencies in the Navy. Attend training at the Andaman Sea Area, building faith in the potential of the Thai Navy. Protect sovereign, save maritime national interests and keep brothers and sisters safe at sea. It's a navy that people believe and proudly believe in.
