Indonesia and Philippines Conducts CORPAT PHILINDO XXXIV-20

Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao successfully conducted the 4th Leg of Coordinated Patrol between the Philippine Navy and Indonesian Navy dubbed as CORPAT PHILINDO XXXIV-20 at the vicinity of 30 Nautical Miles NorthWest off Marore Island, Indonesia on December 18-19, 2020.

The participating vessels were BRP  Apolinario Mabini (PS36) of the Phippine Navy and KRI-Terapang 648 of the Indonesian Navy.

Despite the adverse weather condition during the conduct of coordinated patrols, both navy contingents  successfully accomplished the mission jibed the conduct of the following naval exercise activities: Communications Exercise, Semaphore Exercise, OOW Maneuver Exercise, Flaghoist Exercise, and Man Over Board Exercise.

Further, Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao attained the objective of  CORPAT PHILINDO XXXIV-20 which is  to perform its mandated functions towards addressing security concerns that beset the maritime nation.
