Radio Free Europe: Erdogan Arrives In Moscow For Syria Talks With Putin
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Moscow where he is due to hold talks with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Ankara’s proposed "security zone" in northern Syria.
A Kremlin statement said Putin and Erdogan "will discuss the settlement process in Syria as well as key aspects of bilateral cooperation in trade, the economy, culture, and humanitarian area."
Erdogan is accompanied by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.
Russia and Turkey are on opposite sides of the conflict.
