A Philippine Navy delegation, headed by Philippine Fleet commander Rear Admiral Alberto B. Carlos, conducted a Joint Visual Inspection (JVI) of 21 TC-12B Huron Aircraft at United States Air Force Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) in Tucson, Arizona.
The JVI was held from July 18 to 24.
According to Philippine Fleet, all 21 aircraft passed the inspection, however, only the best eight units will be selected and added to the inventory of the Philippine Navy.
“These aircraft will significantly improve its surveillance, medical evacuation, as well as passenger and light cargo transport capabilities,” the Philippine Fleet said.
