President Trump Confirms His Aide Hope Hicks Has Contracted Covid-19. Says His And Melania’s Test Results Are Pending

 


 * Trump says he and first lady Melania Trump are awaiting their own test results after Hicks tested positive 
 * 'Whether we quarantine or whether we have it, I don't know, I just went for a test' Trump told Fox News 
 * Hicks, who serves as counselor to Trump, traveled with him to a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday 
 * She tested positive Thursday, according to an administration official after feeling poorly on the way home 
 * Hicks also had also been aboard Air Force One to Tuesday night’s first presidential debate in Cleveland 
 * And she traveled with the president to a rally in Pennsylvania last Saturday where she was seen maskless 
 * Trump traveled to New Jersey Thursday for a fundraiser; his social media director Dan Scavino and press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, originally set to join him on the trip, were replaced at the last minute by others 

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump went into quarantine Thursday evening as the couple await their own COVID-19 test results following the news top aide Hope Hicks tested positive for the virus. 

'Whether we quarantine or whether we have it, I don't know,' Trump said during a call-in interview with Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity on Thursday night. 'I just went for a test and we'll see what happens.'  
He later tweeted: 'Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!'
