The Director of the PTT conducted the ceremony to deliver the M758 ATMG self-propelled artillery manufactured and assembled in the amount of 1 battery, 6 systems to the Navy. ATMG will be stationed in the Marine Corps unit on May 1, 2020.
The M758 ATMG (Autonomous Truck Mounted Gun) is a 155 mm Self Propelled Gun designed and manufactured by Elbit Systems, Israel. Which in Thailand the ATMG self-propelled artillery was provided for use in the Army under the contract of production and assembly under the supervision of Arms Building Administration Center, PTT, Ministry of Defense.
M758 ATMG is currently active in the Royal Thai Army, consisting of 1 battalion at 721 artillery battalion, a total of 18 systems.
