The Department of National Defense (DND) is eyeing to fast track the acquisition of air defense systems for Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippines Navy, and Philippine Army under Revised Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Program Horizon 2.
“The Department of National Defense reiterates recently the need to fast track the acquisition of Ground Based Air Defense Systems (GBADS) for the Philippine Air Force, as well as for other air defense requirements from the Philippine Army and Philippine Navy as part of the Horizon 2 phase of the RAFPMP,” MaXDefense Philippines said on October 14.
