Axios: EU statement opposing U.S. embassy move is blocked
Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania, in coordination with Israel, today blocked a joint EU statement criticizing the relocation of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, Israeli officials and European diplomats told me.
Behind the scenes: The initiative to publish the statement was led by France and several other EU member states. Israeli officials say the goal was to present to the U.S. a common position against the move by all 28 member states, and to embarrass and isolate the Trump administration ahead of Monday's ceremony.

WNU Editor: The media narrative on Hungary for the past few months is one of it becoming anti-Semitic under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. But we now have a story where he (along with the Czech Republic and Romania) have just blocked the EU resolution condemning President Trump's decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem .... and all of this occurring at the same time the EU is working with Iran (a government that has called for the extermination of the Jewish state) to circumvent sanctions. Hmmmm .... it makes you wonder on who are the real anti-Semites.
