Coraggio.

This is coolbert:

Back to the topic of Italian military prowess or the lack thereof as generally perceived. From the Mad Monarchist and all thanks to MM.

Ask ten different military experts or military historians the armed forces of what nation gave the BEST performance during the Second World War and you will get ten different answers?

As those same military experts or military historians the armed forces of which nation gave the WORST performance during the Second World War and you will receive an instantaneous and unanimous answer, unequivocal?

THE ITALIANS? AN OPINION AND PERCEPTION NOT WORTHY WHEN COMPARED TO THE RECORD? DECIDE FOR YOURSELF!

1. "Italian Military Tradition I."

2. "Italian Military Tradition II."

3. "Italian Submarine Campaign of World War Two."

INDEED, ITALIAN NAVAL COMMANDO FORCES THE STANDARD OF THE COMBAT  FROGMAN BY WHICH ALL OTHER SIMILAR UNITS OF WHATEVER NATION ARE JUDGED.

See previous blog entries having a similar topic. The Italians hardly gutless cowards running away or surrendering en masse when the first shot fired:
